After a lot of complaining, and an absurd amount of character death considering it was all open world content, I have finally managed to finish up Pathfinder Part 2.
I’m sure a lot of this would have been less annoying if I did the content when it was fresh, but of course, with Impressive Influence on, it also would have taken twice as long. My pre-8.2 gear didn’t do me any favors – each and every trash mob seemed to hit like a boss, and if I pulled an elite without the assistance of other random players in the area or my earth elemental, I was running back to my body.
In fact, just as this achievement popped, I was frantically running away from a herd of mechanospiders with just a sliver of health remaining. This was not an uncommon occurrence.
Note the lovely red tinge indicating I was very very close to a corpse run.
I still have 13 days remaning of my 30 day subscription, and I will likely go back and see if I can scrounge up some extra gold before my sub runs out.
For now, though, I’m not going to think about naga or mechagnomes for a couple of days.

I’m a little behind you, although I will be finishing Nazjatar today with it being the daily emissary quest set. Mechagon I’m told is easier, but I’m still hopeful will get one or two days of it being the emissary set before the 18th.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news; Mechagon has only 2 World Quests per day (one regular, one pet battle I believe). Otherwise it’s all dailies and repeatables.

I’m sure I’ve seen Rustbolt as an emissary set before… But maybe not then!
In any case, just completed my rounds. It does at least look like one of those WQs is a solid 1,700 rep (with double rep buff up). If I do Mekagon somewhat religiously now, it might not get me all the way (esp won’t if no emissary stuff) but should knock out the worst of it.
I have no intention on going to exalted for the allied races. Flight is enough for me!

I looked into it — no emissary. You can still use an inscriptionist’s contract — but only boosts the big rare/chests daily and the pet battle one, so smaller boost here than might usually be the case for a rep.
That said, I think I am still finding this one easier than Najzatar. It’s a nicer zone to navigate, the dailies overlap more heavily allowing for a number to be done in rapid succession etc, I think another two days and I’ll be done! 😀
Then I’ll likely get to work on my alts a bit more seriously. Although after finishing yesterday’s round of dailies and quests — I started upgrading my heirlooms to 120 for all classes/specs, getting my alts equipped, reslotting skills to bars etc, and tried to make some decisions about who I might do first.
…But heading into whole post territory, so will save it for there. 🙂 (Spoiler though: Monnnk!)
